Privacy & your information

What we collect
When you send a booking request through this website, we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- the session and preferred date you choose, if you choose them; and
- your message, if you write one.
Why we collect it
We use it only to reply to you and to book the session you asked about. We don’t sell it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
How it gets to us
This website is run for us by our web provider, Built By Ting. When you send the form:
- It’s delivered to us by email using Cloudflare, Inc., a hosting and email service.
- It arrives in our Gmail inbox (Google).
- Both companies may store or process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where courts, law enforcement or national security authorities may access it under that country’s laws.
Our web provider doesn’t keep a copy of your message. To stop the same request being sent twice, a one-way code made from your email address, session and date is kept for up to 24 hours, then deleted.
Like any website, the hosting provider processes technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The booking form’s logs never include your name, email address or message, and are kept for three days. This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your request in our email for as long as we need it to arrange your session and keep normal business records. Then we delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Jordanna at jordannaedwardsphotography@gmail.com.
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
